Accessories are a girls best friend

I don't know about you, but I love accessories.

They are what complete my look.

I like to experiment with different varieties that include new and vintage pieces.

I know all of you girls out there love to pick up a barging above are two pieces that together cost as little as THREE POUND!

Especially if you only want to wear it once, it's a steal. Both pieces can be used for casual or formal occasions.

I would recommend the necklace with high wasted jeans, plain baggy tee and a blazer, for that cool casual work look.

These are the most beautiful pair of earrings that I own.

Be careful though ladies don't wear Junk Jewelry  with bold clothing, you don't want to end up looking like Pat Butcher.

A classic simple black dress will combined with these earrings will be oozing with GLAMOUR.

Rings also can add an extra something to any outfit!

Co-ordination with your out fit and other accessories.

It's key not to over do it.

Bling it up, Experiment.

Keep simple items with bold dress, with simple attire go bold.

What's your most precious accessory?

Mum's Wardrobe. Glamour Christmas Party Edition

Jacket - very.co.uk - £50
Dress - Asda - £17
Earrings- vintage
Shoes - Primark - £12

My mother is my fashion icon.

This beautiful vintage replicate dress combined with the luxuriousness look adds to her extremely glamorous style.

Rocking this beautiful lace dress, beautiful fur coat and glitter studded shoes, I think she nailed the perfect Christmas Glam.

My mother is one of those people who certainly dresses to impress!

This is exactly what she did for this small town, Christmas party.

She is forever being complimented for her attire and I often pinch some of her items.

Kelly (my mother) loves a barging, she likes to look good but whether it's cheap and cheerful, or boutique if she want's it she'll get it.

In my house she dominates two wardrobes, two chests and two suitcases full of clothes.

She is never spoilt for choice.

My mother is my inspiration and I love her sense of style.

She even had a pair of Dot Martins, before I had a chance.

She's always on par when it comes to trends and she's a lady to look out for!

Kristen Stewart fashion time line

As the Twilight saga comes to an end, it is clear that Kristen Stewart's sense of fashion has changed dramatically over the last four years.

In 2008, her laid back look is definitely a dramatic change to the Woman we know today in her beautiful Zuhad Muhair dress!

Los Angeles premier for Twilight 2008:

Click to view full size image

Even then Kristen has a edge to her! The casual number works perfectly to accompany the character Bella in the first book, youthful and innocent.

Los Angeles premier for New Moon 2009:

Kristen's look here is very much vampire-esk which ties into the whole saga. We can see here that she is developing a more edgier style but still retaining her innocent look.
Love the detailing on the dress with the sparkles!

Los Angeles premier for Breaking Dawn 2010:

Kristen's look here is ooozing with sex appeal. With this full length dress with the thigh cut hints SO much at glamour combined with a vintage vampire look with the purple glitter, Kristen looks amazing.

Los Angeles premier for Breaking Dawn Part Two 2012:

As ever Kristen is being talked about, whether it's her relationship with Robert Patterson or what she is wearing.

This number spark controversy when you could see her bum.

The cream corset dress shouts gorgeous to me and I think the twilight star looks glam!

Check out the Breaking Dawn Part two official trailer

What's your favourite Kristen look?

Santiago (man-drobe)

Jumper - River Island - £35
Jeans - Pull & Bear29.99
Shoes - Fathers wardrobe

My first ever Man blog on fashion.

This is the beautiful Santiago Diaz Montalvo, who kindly helped me out. (He loved it, posed and everything.)

With his Spanish flare, he pulls of the English Alpha male, with the rolled up skinnies with knitted jumper. This is crossed with the laid back nature of the Spanish, rocked with his super cool, almost skater rock glasses.

I adore his fashion and walking with him puts me to shame.

Adios!

Tell me about males you know fashion do's and don'ts?

Barging Handbag

Handbag - Charity shop - £1.99

Being a journalism student, I should be nosy right?

So as I was collecting information for an article for a story for my student online newspaper, I came across this bad boy.

I was so excited when I saw this, I was stoking the gold embroidery and soaking up all its quality. I couldn't believe my luck in finding this gem.

So after my little moment of passion that every women has when she finds an item she likes, I went for the tag. My heart in my mouth, thinking "I'm a student, even I wont be able to afford this in a charity shop."

After I discovered it was only £1.99, I ran to the till!

This is one hundred percent something to glam out any outfit, with the oriental vintage look.

My new baby.

Tell me about your best buy this week?

Hit the trend

Jumper: Primark - £5

We all love a good posy picture for our facebook, especially when you brought new clothes and your feeling good about yourself.

With university I haven't been keeping up to date with my favorite magazine COMPANY. I just brought it and slung it on the side.

Through the fashion bits I found a new trend called Graphic Knits where a JAEGER version was £220 which is almost identical. Thinking I got the good deal. Goes to show if you look about you can always find a good buy that's the hottest fashion!

Hannah Bom Banna

Dress: New look - £20. Student discount £18

This is Han. My Flat mate, LUCIA FOSTER WELCH FLAT 3A. What a cool girl.

Knew this girl was cool after the first night out, we sat and had our cuppa tea's hanging out our arse-holes. Chatting the most rare of bollocks. As previously blogged shes our FASH girl. So on nights out I'm going to be stealing her piccies. and doing what I do best. Waffle.

What a barging this dress was! Eighteen squid after student discount can't go wrong. The maroon lace dress is extremely flattering and is perfect  for a night out. Glamorous and comfortable. Best combination for a dress for a fun one!

Best one-liner from this was "don't get my feet in."

Night out

Dress: Mums Wardrobe
Necklace: Primark - £2
Studs: River island - £6

A girls worst nightmare on a night out is wondering what to wear. You pull your whole wardrobe out. Have a glass of wine. But yet its 9.30 and you still haven't decided.

The black dress is one hundred percent a classic! Every girl has one, its the accessories that make it. Tonight's outfit I have accompanied it with gold, to add a little bit of colour. Gold represents wealth and happiness like the sun. We girls do like to be treated and have a little fun.

With the studs, which have been of real use from River island. That are multi-use because they are like badges. Add an edge to any outfit. Rock chic' is definitely my favorite trend at the moment.

Play around with it. The studs didn't look right first time, in fact they looked right tacky. But once I got it symmetrical it looked like it was just always apart of the outfit.

Student shopping

Bag: H&m - £7.99

With recently joining Southampton Solent University, student loan aloud me to splash out a little cash. After borrowing a flat mates clutch bag, after realizing that I didn't actually bring one. A must have night out essential needed to be purchased.

Like any other student, I was on a budget. I did search the more up market, Urban Outfitters and Topshop. None were of what I particularly wanted. Or the price that I wanted. So after a little hunt around I found this number.

This glittery clutch was something to dress up even the most boring of outfits. Just adds a little shimmer and a bit of colour. For a bargain price, who really could resist. I know you wouldn't either!

DIY Fashion

                                                   Shirt: George ASDA- £4
                                                   Necklace: Primark - £2
                                                   Studs: River Island - £6

I'm a big diva for clothing. I see someone wearing something that I like, I want it. That's exactly what I did with this polo top. Southampton is an amazing place for different types of fashion! In The Marlands shopping center I saw a girl wearing an (almost) identical shirt. That was it I was on the hunt.

Customizing is my thing. I like fashion, just like the average girl. So when I get to switch it up to make it more fashionable, that is when I'm in my element. What a barging as well, who would have thought that a white polo top with studs would have worked out at a tenner. Next time your out see your potential DIY clothes and switch it up.

Fashion Diary

Dress- Very.co.uk - £25
Shorts- small boutique - £12
Bracelet- Primark - £2

A girls number one thing on a night out is to look good. You want to party with your friends and have that confidence to have that "hell yeah" feeling about yourself.

Sometimes this means taking a risk! I accompanied my pink, off purple floral lace oriental dress with a pair of shorts. This I tucked into the shorts with appeared to also give my shorts an floral overtone. Creating an whole new outfit which looked blocked.

Try something different, doesn't always work. Trust me the amount of times I spend twirling in the mirror assessing what looks good and what doesn't! Dare to be different.

Fashion Student

Top- Topshop - £17 (modified used to come with white cami)
Skirt- River Island - £12

Fashion Student Hannah Lloyd, struts her stuff on student night out. Hannah, who models amazing high-street current look smart boo-hoo meets hipster. Like any good fashion student, Hannah modified her outfit by taking out the white under top of the shirt. Instead she has accompanied it with an bandeau, which gives this a current look.

Hannah's favourite shop is acecessorize, best item she ever brought there was either her pink scarf or purple clutch bag! Love it!

Outfit attire

I'm always worrying about what to wear. Wether or not its a night out I panic. There is nothing more stressful then a girl to look good! I wouldn't even what to guess annually how much a women spends on clothes, accessories, and general beauty products.

The look I always resort to is the slender black. Everyone one loves the colour black. Look at the famous little black dress, its every girl essential in her wardrobe.

My outfit I'm displaying an one shouldered jumpsuit, accompanied by dangle statement earrings, belt and bracelets.

Weddings

This is my Nan and Grandad's wedding. I love how the black and white captures the essence of era, beauty and elegance. All which I believe intwines in this beautiful ceremony that we call tradition. My nan is wearing a time-less classic, which could be adapted to any time period. It's simplistic nature captures her natural beauty. Accompanied by the macho traditional penguin suit; my grandad looks handsome and strong. Combination making an magnificent photograph that captures a true beautiful moment.

Top tip

Before you go to bed at night, think of something that makes you happy. In the morning you will be in a much better mood.

Festival tips continued

I recently went to a concert outside and thought that this was a key time to practice my festival outfits. So I wore high waisted shorts denim (a festival must have, that can work with many outfits), black tights for when the night turns chilly! Combined with a black long T-shirt for warms and a studded denim jacket to add the cool new double denim look. Of course Wellies also topped this look off! My mother is also an avid fashion pride lady, most of my fashion inspiration occurs from this lady. She ticked more festival boxes then I did with her floral Doc Martins, her skinny black jean, skinny top and oversized leather studded jacket. This is a look all ages can get away with. One festival no no, I realised where big sunhats great for the campsite! Bad for the crowds view and no one wants to carry a massive hat for hours do they?

Wednesday, 4 July 2012

Festival tip

I'll Update you on the recommendation when they arrive. It is essential that you bag yourself a barging for festivals! Saving costs, can help you have a Wicked time, also making you feel B-e-a-u-tiful!!!!

Montage

All the items (par the Jeffrey Cambells), I own, have created, or have on me. I change my mind on items, its a girl thing! But these are what I LOVE. Essentials! Barging Buy was definitely the brown shoes for £3. Local charity shop. Yes, they maybe an embarrassing passion of ya' Nanna. But my Golly you can strike lucky!

Personal blog

http://lileeeaaan.tumblr.com/

This is where I rant and post pictures of personal items.

Fashion Video/Romantic Video

For A2, A-level I created a short film, which represents couples in a modern day. It shows compromise and conflict that consumes the relationship. I manipulated there costume to represent there personalities and characteristics. This is something which I believe is extremely important in everyday life. I tend to wear darker clothes when I'm in a dark, dangerous mood. Red, when I'm feeling lovable, romantic and spontaneous. Try matching your outfit to your mood. Makes you feel more confident in what you are wearing!

Admire and Inspire

Kate Moss, is an continual inspiration for me. Her "Rock Chic" flare combined with class, and sophistication is something that has impacted my personal wardrobe. Kate Moss is one of those models that has the capability to wear anything that she desires, wears it with confidence and pulls it off. I believe that this is the ingredient to her successful career. Women's tool to the continual cycle of the ever changing fashion.

Web Shopping

Browsing the internet for clothing has always been a difficult task for me and people alike! Especially people who love an barging. ASOS market place, the urban essential "second-hand shop" / eBay (without the stressful bidding). This allows a mountain of clothes from A-Z of fashion, from Vintage to Urban to Rock. With hundreds of different subsections to chose from.

With new clothes at our fingertips, why not sell your clothing?! Bag yourself a new pair of shoes for selling your old clothes that you don't want any more! How can you go wrong. ASOS have definitely out done them-self with this addition to the online shop. Now they need to bring it to the high-street and allow us to swap clothes for credit similar to the games shops for boys.
